But as far as I know, I can not change that folder now. There is a warning under that saying there should not be any white space. My "Android SDK Location" contains one white space in the form of my User (my_first_name my_last_name). I can't even click on the "SDK Tools" tab nor the "SDK Update Sites" tab. I can not uncheck nor check anything else.
However I can't do anything about it since I can't click on anything. "Android API 26" is marked as Partially Installed. The only two platforms checked are "Android API 26" and "Android 7.1.1". There's been a lot of changes since I first started developing Android apps using Xamarin with the state and location of the emulators. We need a little more information as to which one is being run. Four were found but I don't which one is being used by VS. To further sleuth this I did a search to find all the AVD Manager.exe's on my hard drive. And I don't know what sets that $HOME.android\avd because it doesn't show up in the variable list. It seems that though the device manager used in VS creates and saves the emulator it's looking in the wrong place to start it. I also made sure that all those environment variables were correct. Problem is that "mydevice.ini" is in the avd folder.
